Operation Overlord June, 6th 1944

70 years ago today we began the invasion that would eventually put an end to the European Theater of WW2.  Many men from the Nutmeg State participated, a quite a few never made it home.  Lets take a moment and remember the boys of `44. Our Heroes that hit the beaches of France so long ago.
